We announced the formation of Foxglove Comics back in September 2020, shortly followed by Scott joining us with his webcomic Star Warriors in October 2020. It’s been a busy 18 months since then as we focused on better establishing our collective. We've wanted to invite Momo to join Foxglove since December 2020, but felt it would be irresponsible to put growth before stability. Well, it's finally time and we're pleased as punch to have her join! We hope you enjoy her works as much as we have these past few years.

Momo brings with her a love and passion for cartoons and comics, especially those made with uninhibited creativity. She has wanted to make comics pretty much as far back as she can remember, and has done so to great effect, including past works such as The Bug Pond (lost to malware, unfortunately, the "awgosh" site is not safe to visit!). Starting in June 2020, Momo was able to begin sharing Preeny Has to Repeat 6th Grade. Being able to make this comic has meant a lot to her as many of the themes found in her comic are based on experiences she had growing up as an autistic child.

But Momo poured more than herself into her webcomic. Most of Preeny's character designs were bought (adopted) from children on DeviantArt.com, resulting in its creative, colorful cast! She has been collecting adoptables and making plans with them for years. She has always loved the innocence, creativity, and general cuteness of kids’ character designs. They lack the jadedness and fear of looking silly that we come to develop as we age.

Preeny Has to Repeat 6th Grade aims to celebrate that pure, uninhibited creativity, and to share Momo’s love of it with everyone. To help people remember what it was like to be a kid, or to make young artists online feel special and seen! The story features both a bright innocence and darker themes, as both are a part of every growing kid’s imagination. Momo’s work in representing unbridled creation has enraptured us and even inspired us to help our own community create whatever their hearts may hold.
