Community Banners
Our Discord’s banner image is a carousel of seasonally themed artwork made by our community! We announce a new themed prompt 3 weeks prior to the start of each season.
We provide plenty of reference materials, but you may ask for more if necessary!
All banners can be found on our fanworks page!
Each artist is credited in our #welcome channel while their banner is in use.
New banners will be used at the start of the season and get at least twice as much time as old banners from previous years if they are used.
Out-of-season submissions will be seen the following year.

Content

Give it a theme matching the season.
Include our mascot, Foxglove.
Adhere to the content rules on our Discord.
You MAY:
Ignore the current prompt, if you wish to do something else that matches the season.
Collaborate with others, even if you submit a banner yourself.
Animate it, as long as it is under 5 seconds.
Include any of our comic characters, or anyone on our team.
❌ Do not include other IP in the banner, since we do not have the right to use them!
❌ Do not include our logo or “Foxglove Comics”, as the Discord UI makes that redundant.
❌ Do not submit multiple banners per season. Be fair to others!
Restrictions
We reserve the right to not use your banner if it:
Breaks or skirts our Discord’s rules.
Is considerably low effort.
Has poor image quality. (e.g. difficult to see, photo flash, blurry, etc)
Helpful Tips and Tricks
Don’t make the elements in your banner too small!
At such a small size, tiny details are impossible to see.
Don’t spend forever on rendering!
Fine details are lost when the image is shrunk down.
It’s better to focus on a few large elements!
You want to focus attention on your subject!
Make sure to use the template linked above!
It’s easy for important details to get covered by the UI!
